more herps for the collection

so after dinner, i had the bright idea of stopping by the pet store because i wanted to look at the savannah monitor that caught my eye the last couple of times i was there. my roomie has been going on and on about ferrets so we looked at some ferrets that they had before moving into the area where the reptiles are kept. shaved ferrets rock, but

I'm so jealous. I love snakes!!!

On the ferret note, I had a friend with two of them. He let them roam the house freely, but they had a small room that was "theirs" and they were pretty well behaved. They are NOT generally kid friendly though, so I wouldn't have any of those over if you get one.

Of course, boas aren't known to be all kid friendly either, so...

i am more than happy with keeping it strictly to herpes and inverts with the once a week mouse for the snake. I am glad that he decided to go with the boa over the ferret and now Ichigo is enjoying herself(not sure if it is a male or female but i always wanted a brazilian girl so. . .)

Now to decide if I want a 15T for crested gex or something larger for a savannah monitor. . .decisions, decisions.
