Feel free to ignore this, I'm just going to spend a bit of time stream-of-consciousness-ing.

I am a poly, bi, geeky, kinky bibliophile who loves to dance and can get easily distracted on occasion. This is me. I don't pretend to be anything I'm not, and I'm as WYSIWYG as it gets, to the point of being flirt-blind and totally unable to pick up signals

Thank guys, although it was really odd situation - I'd assumed everything was fine and happy and going great.

None of this came out until I finally got worried enough to email them (I usually text or call them) and discovered that they'd broken it off with me a month ago, but just hadn't bothered to tell me, assuming I would get the hint, as it were...

Then a slew of insults and pettiness came out in 3 or 4 messages, at which point I cut off all communications. I really didn't have to deal with this for long, they kept it so well hidden I didn't even know they were like this until we were finished! So really, I got off lightly.

Thanks for the hugs, all the offers of hugs are helping. It really wasn't as awful as it sounds there, but getting it all out at once probably makes it sound like it was happening over our whole relationship, which it wasn't.
