Already I am fighting tears, even from the moment Draco's world was shattered by full wakefulness. The hopeless longing coupled with the despair of this one-sided marriage, the way he finds it difficult to call the child his, simply because she is (to him) wrong is heartbreaking.

The quidditch showers, the tenderness of his memory just tugged at my heart - and being shattered yet again... it *hurt*. The sort of hurt that makes you FEEL for him, feel like you ARE him, heartbroken. *snuggles Draco so much*

Such subtle imagery, 'mentally choked', really bring home Draco's misfitish (yes I'm making up words now) marriage.

'they dared type your name' ... 'after ten years'... *sob* He's so... protective, furious for Harry's sake, and again it *hurts* because it reminds him yet again.

And still these small glimpses of how he hates being entrapped in this marriage that never should have been. *whimper*

"What kind of owner were you" - did you hear that shatter? That was my heart!
