'Night and Day' series update - a Piano drabble

Yummm... I'm catching up again, and ooh, what a great place to start! Put aside for a moment the fact that I cringe involuntarily when I think of a fully-grown teenage boy sitting on top of a piano (I have this thing about being really careful not to put anything on top of pianos). This fic is really fun, and mighty sexy. I like the idea of Draco as a pianist - I've seen it a few places, recently, and I think it fits nicely. And Draco scribbling furiously while Harry sits there, naked and frustrated, is absolutely priceless in so many ways! I have to admit I thought it was a bit of a stretch to have Harry fail to realise that the piece he was hearing was what Draco had just written, especially after it had given him that insight into Draco's personality. You could have gotten to Harry's disbelief and Draco's annoyance at that, by a slightly different route, but hey, I'm not here to beta, I'm here to squee! Seriously, this is great! Oh yeah, and the last line? guhwibblemeltsdieshappyguhhhh...

*sigh* Dear, this only goes to show that I'm not perfect. I know what you mean about it being a stretch when Harry was oblivious to the fact that Draco wrote the song - I knew it was one when I wrote it, and I'm bad for not having corrected it. When all the drabbles are done, I will definitely be going back to fix them up.

Anyway, it's good to see that you're up. I should have the next drabble up soon - I'm just finishing it up, and I should have it posted soon. *kisseshugs* I hope your concert went well? Or is that later?
