Well, I DID IT!!!!  I sent my first query letter for my book.  It's not finished, but for non-fiction, they only require a proposal but the rough draft is almost finished anyways.  It's only one query and I'm sure I'll have to send out many to many agents before I get picked up, but I feel positive about this step.  It shows and proves to me that I ( Read more... )

Congrats on sending that in! :D

I change my hair like that too. Well, unless I find a color/style I like and stay there for a while (I've had the pink hair for over a year now), but it's so wild how so much of your appearance can change just from different hair. It's nice and refreshing too. :)

Good luck!

Ahh I love changing my hair too. Maybe too much and 50% of the time it fails, but still- change either doesnt happen or all at once.

YOU GET PAID TO DONATE!?! I used to give blood before I started on meds and we don't get paid for it :(

XxX

We don't get paid for donating blood, at least not around here, but they have "plasma centers" where you can go in and donate up to 2 times a week and get paid each time. They take the blood out, separate it in a machine from the plasma (the liquidy part of the blood) and then put the red part back in the body and the plasma in a bottle. Sounds kind of gross but it's easy as hell (and all very sanitary) and only takes less than 2 hours for the whole process. A lot of students do it to make extra money. And sometimes the meds you take will make it so you can't "donate" but since I'm off my heavy-duty psych meds, I'm okay to donate.
