You can recover but i really don't think the other person goes away in your thoughts. I got out of a shitty realtionship and met the best man in the entire world. I've been living with them basically since we started dating (been a yr) and we were friends before we dated. But I still always think about my first boyfriend no matter how much happier or better off i am now. Kinda sucks.

Well technically it's since April but I've lived with him since May and have maybe spent 3days without him, so to me it's like 4years ha.
We're in it for the long haul and for once I'm happy all-around so it's good.
It's been forever since I've seen you! You need to come hang out miss.

You have a better guy than you did before..why be scared? I was kinda in the same spot and now I have Greg. If I ever let him slip away because I was too damaged from shit head, how would I recover? I'd be damaged and stupid....DONT BE THAT!
