So I find myself upon another Christmas Eve, possibly the most comfortable one I've spent in years. Not comfortable as in 'cushy' or 'luxurious', but peaceful and contented. I haven't had this kind of peace in a long time. It's what I've wanted all my life, really

I'm totally with you on the desire to avoid the consumerism of the season. And also on people being more important than Stuff.
