Did you take pics? I'm sure it must've looked impressive. Just the thought of snow in a desert kinda boggles my mind but I don't know what the weather gets like down there. When I think of where you live, I think about sunshine and beaches! :p

Here and here are examples of pictures of snow in the Mojave Desert. Trippy, huh? It's not a super common thing. We just got lucky enough to be there at the right time! This desert is 500 miles or so from where I live, and the climate is much more arid with--naturally--hot, dry summers and cold, dry winters
