I don't think they mean storyteller in the White Wolf sense. They just mean, as a roleplayer you're more concerned with the story than with your individual character, or with killing things, or with the details of the rules. You'll accept something bad happening to you if it's a plot necessity and you'll accept if NPC's can do something not in the rules just because the GM/Storyteller/Guide needs them to be able to.
