I love the 80s. I was born in the 70s, but as I don't remember them I can't really comment on them. But the 80s were so wonderfully cheesy and made of sugary awesome. So I think I am going to hit everyone with occasional 80s to remind us all of how cool we had it then.

The Neverending Story I and II together tell the story of the book. II is a lot looser than one, the second half of the book being a bit more ... tragic than the movie.

I heart Neverending Story. The G'mork (the wolf) totally scared the CRAP outta me when I was little. Great movie. I heart the theme song too.

I've actually never seen this movie. Apparently, I somehow missed most of the movies other people saw when they were kids in the 80s.

I also never saw "The Princess Bride" until high school or "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" until college.

This song is my cell phone ringtone. Every once in a while, when I'm around new people and my cell goes off, I hear a gasp of recognition. It's a great friend-or-foe detector. ;-)
