I never know what to say about your videos! So melancholy and misty and ... sepia-toned. I just love them.

I never know what to say, too. I love them, but that's about all I manage to say in the comments!

(You know, that's usually a good enough comment, right?!)

Love this, as always. So I decided I should subscribe to your YouTube channel because I find that's the best way for me to go back and find stuff I want to watch again :)

I read the text first and then watched the video. It was very powerful to me, in that order. What an amazing story. I am planning to research it some more on my own. Good job putting it together!

... Well you could research it yourself, but pretty much everything I'm doing here is fictional ^^
I'm glad you like it, though!! :)

Well you sure fooled me. I read it as real as could be and even thought I had heard of it before. That there was a family of peole from the forest...well, whatever. I still enjoyed this a lot. :)

... I think... most stories have some element of fact in them - all I ever aim for in my writing is for the story I'm telling to feel true, so I'm not at all disappointed that you thought this was based in factual events!

Me too!! I'm going to develop this initial idea into something bigger, I think - it's certainly got a lot of as-yet-unexplored narrative potential :)
