I can actually imagine how it looked, this scene. The wireless and the voice emerging, somewhere on a rooftop. The whole story has a vintage feel to it. ;-}

I love the message, and the idea of talking into the void having no idea if anyone can hear you or not. I wonder how often Lysander listened to the wireless after that hoping for more...
