I'm on limited internet connection via phone browser -- I wrote this over the weekend and typed it up on my phone - I've tried to get this all formatted right, but if you see something funny then let me know and I'll get back on and fix it asap

I find my own version of heaven. Though, I will admit that when I read there was a question at the end, and I saw the words "once-great city", my mind, for some reason, jumped to Atlantis, heh.

What do you find? :D

Honestly? I don't know what I find. There are too many possibilities to contemplate and I haven't had the time to think about it. I think I'd like to be surprised.

What I do know is that I'll see my mum, just as she saw her parents when she was leaving our world for the next.

Probably? I'd find nothing. I think once we cease to exist on the mortal coil, we cease to exist, period.

But I often hope that I'm wrong. I hope that the afterlife is whatever I wish it to be. A place filled with all the people and creatures that I've loved gathered on a sunny afternoon on a green hillside, picnic spread out around us, talking and eating and laughing and hugging forever and ever and always.

What do I see? I pretty much could paste nyxocity's comment word for word. Pretty much exactly. In fact, I think she somehow entered my mind and stole my thoughts...CHEATER!
