Yeah, I sent him an e-mail and commented on his lj, but I could think of no way to introduce myself as intrested in a relationship without sounding like an internet pervert, but I think I did ok ^^

Actually, it's probably better that you don't come across right away as being interested in a relationship. Just start things off casual, you know? That usually tends to work out best.
