You should hear some of the hilarious tales of my kid sister's continuing dragon RP. Her character just beheaded some hatchling dragon who, despite being a "precocious" and "intelligent" toddler who can "read, write, n do university maths," spelled April's character Makrida as "markidia."
After a general uproar about Makrida murdering a baby and calmly wearing his skin over her head and shoulders, April revealed Makrida's secret dark nature, Dr. Manhattan style, renamed her "The Makrida-Being," and is fucking the RP over like Captain Kirk on a planet of legless vagina-monsters.
Coming from someone with a dependency for her computer automated spell checker, and never learned proper punctuation this probably seems mighty hypocritical. Though in my defense I do try very hard to at least look like i know what I'm doing even though I don't XD
However, the majority of people who role play [of course I don't normally roleplay on LJ because people expect you to do it way too much] suck at it. Their normally ages 11-15, which is okay for some people, but most people haven't gotten a firm sense of english right/wrong.
Its much like looking at fanfiction, especially on websites like Gaia, its just a magnet for people who don't really understand english. I don't mind minor mistakes, but dayum some people are just terrible and can't be bothered with a spell checker.

Just, you know, sort of a suggestion... XD
