[ suddenly, there's a shot of buildings rushing by in a long apparent fall. the keys get scrabbled at a few times before the communicator's is clearly seized and the screen goes dark. in the background, plastic squeals on steel and the camera gets waved around a bit before the holder obviously trips.

the device goes flying and clatters onto the pavement, revealing sky and buildings, both serenely unmoving. ]

[ annnnd the communicator gets picked up by a boy sitting on the sidewalk, flushed and raggedy, yanking off his beanie to scrub at his head. ]

No big deal! I just dropped this. [ he taps the device. his expression sours as he looks at it. ] It's like they try to get you to lose your grip!

[How'd you get down so fast without, breaking everything? Not that Guy doesn't jump from the top of ridiculously tall landships or anything.]

No way, I can't even imagine how much it'd cost to replace it! I just dropped it, that's all.

[ scrolling up to replay his initial comment for himself. ]
