[Sitting on a bench, people watching when suddenly... Something on the street catches his attention and he gets to his feet, ducking down a side alley.]

[There was a little girl wandering about the side alley all by her lonesome with the exception of the three others that were loitering around when suddenly! A random blond Guy swoops past her.]

Pirates? [And she doesn't realize he could be on the run from said... "pirates".]

[Erk. He glances back out of the alley, motioning with a finger to his lips and a hushed voice.]

Don't let them know I'm here.

[Oh... oh. Well in that case, she nods and shuffles a bit closer to him because maybe this means she has to hide too. Also she lowers her voice like he does.]

Are pirates bad?

[Inching a little away.] Ah... These ones aren't... Evil. They're just really scary.

[He says that with feeling. They terrify him.]

[Van glances around before catching sight of Guy and smiles.]

It's good to see a familiar face in this strange place.

[servidude]

[That stops him short, and the thought of ridiculous stalker girl pirates flies straight from his mind as he turns and stares at the familiar profile.]

[Why is he surprised? It caught him off guard, maybe. Not that he's unhappy, but at the same time, if it's just this event... It's temporary. That's a little bittersweet.]

[Van bows slightly.]

Are you doing well, Gailardia?

[servidude]

[So he doesn't remember being here.]

Yeah. [No, he doesn't ask how Van's doing. Partly, after everything Luke, Anise and Jade have told him, he's afraid to know.] Formalities aside, do you know where you are?

[ Seems that everyone and their brother has decided to take the alley today, Luke included. ]

Pirates? What kind of pirates would be wandering around a town?

[It's the alley the cool kids use. And Luke may be growing his hair too long, but not that long. Another Luke? Well it's this curse after all.]

[Edging away from that side of the alley.]

[ Then Guy must be the epitome of cool with all these... friendly people showing up. Luke falls into that category as well and follows after Guy, peering back in search of these terrifying people. ]

The only ones I can think of who are that scary is Dist and Mohs. But I guess girls count for you, huh?
