I just honestly can't be bothered with doing ( Read more... )

Scotland was FANTASTIC!!!! The accommodation in Edinburgh was extremely comfortable - luxurious compared to the other accom's. It wasn't cold in scottish summer, but I managed to wear a jumper once (the only country I wore a jumper in, during the whole trip, lol). You can just imagine.....I *LOVE* scottish accents and I heard them everywhere for four days straight!

Unfortunately I didn't visit the highlands, I went to Edinburgh and Fifeshire only (middle, east coast of Scotland), but I definitely want to see the highlands - all the mountains, country, castles etc up north. Went to Edinburgh castle, had haggis, bought a purple kilt, heard scottish music everywhere... bagpipe rock music (funky!)

eh.... i'll give the whole low-down on Edinburgh in next entry :-) with photos of course of scotland.

Miss ya too *hugs*

And yes, he was soo sweet :-) Going out next weekend.

I know. It so made my day/evening, after a semi-pissy day. It was very flattering and sweet. :-)

Eh, travelling...hey Fishy, in Scotland I got a purple kilt :P
I saw it in a kilt/Scottish souvenirs shop, the purple tartan kilt called the "Scotland Forever" tartan - based on the scottish battle cry of the same name when they fought against England (that is basically what it said on the tag). Amongst other 'new' tartans I've never seen before there was also a tartan designed for the EU - a bright blue and yellow tartan. Hmm, anyways I just about drooled in the kilt shop, I saw the purple kilt and knew I was going to walk out with it :P

I'm sure you'll be able to get it. I went to a tartan-weaving factory in Edinburgh (it's up a hill right near Edinburgh castle) which had HEAPS of tartan, lots more than in shops. it had a store too. There are some scottish shops i know of in Sydney which sell tartan (but I never saw the purple kilt in them).

Cheers
