OMG I'm off on my travels tomorrow! I can't believe it's finally here and I am both terrified and excited. I have three days on Boston on my own between Toronto and New York and I think that's what making me nervous.

But! I get to see la_rainette and inell and I am SO excited about both of those things, it's just not true. I miss Nellie so much, every day so ( Read more... )

Never been to Toronto (or Canada for that matter!), but both Boston and NYC are great places. Boston is in a beautiful area and NYC is something else. I'm not a big city fan, but there's something about NYC I like.

Where did you stay in Boston? I'm at the HI, but it seems close to downtown and MIT and I can go wander around Salem and Harvard like a proper nerd. :D

I actually stayed at my friend Dan's house - he was doing a year at Harvard for his physics degree. But downtown is cool, we snuck through MIT to have a snoop, walked around Harvard, but alas didn't get the time to go up to Salem in the end.

If you have time, go up the Prudential Tower in Boston at night. It's a really nice view of the city (and, well, I always like seeing it at night! Day is just as good, and probably better for actually making out the landmarks!).

I'm looking forward to it, but am also super freaked that I'm doing this scary long trip and some of it on my own etc. But it will be ace, I'm sure. :D
