I am tired. Really tired. I haven't been sleeping well this week and have basically been a zombie who doesn't write/create anything and listens to Back to the Future soundtracks constantly. Lady. Doing a show AND going to work full-time is exhausting. Don't be so hard on yourself! This is how theatre works!!

I love that Patrick's giving you so much responsibility, though, because it means you're learning a ton. That's so awesome!

It's so funny because it's true. I get really frustrated with myself for not being able to keep up with things (mostly writing and house-cleaning), and also for coming home from rehearsal and just watching TV instead of doing one of the above things. And I say to myself things like, "What is wrong with me? How do other people manage a full time job, stage managing on the side, trying to finish a book, trying to start a theatre company, keeping their house clean, reading, cooking, and regular chores ( ... )

So it mostly feels like regular stage managing, which means that somehow you taught me how to be a stage manager without either of us realizing it.

That makes me feel all warm inside.
