Pandora Hearts Appreciation: Day 2
Day 02 - How did you get to know of Pandora Hearts?
Usually, before a new season of anime starts, I like to do a little info hunting, on what's about to come out. It was just a few weeks before the start of the spring anime season, in 2009, and I was going down the list of potential anime, that I would like to check out. Eventually, I came across Pandora Hearts, and I had no idea what it was going to be about. So, checked out ANN's page for it, to see the staff and cast list; as well as to see if I could get a link to the anime's home page. While I was looking at ANN's page, I noticed two particular names attached to the cast list. They were Junko Minagawa and Akira Ishida, both seiyuu that I love. Then, I noticed that Yuki Kajiura was going to be composing the soundtrack, and I, for one, am a huge fan of her work. So, I was a little more interested in pursuing this further.
Shortly after, I found the link to the anime's website, and I started checking things out. I was flipping back and forth, between the website and ANN's entry, due to my inexperience with Kanji. (I knew enough to understand who was going to play what character, but I wanted to double check.) I was going down the list from Oz, Alice, Raven, and Sharon, and when I got to Break, I knew I had an instant win. After seeing Break's character design, I just had to give it a shot!
The rest, as they say, is history.
