My experience with fasting is the first two-three days are the worst. After that, it's pretty much smooth sailing. It's mind blowing how much time we spend thinking about food!
Isn't it!? And eating, and preparing it... I talked to my yoga teacher the morning of my fasting day, and she said the same thing about day two and three being by far the worst. Sometime in the future it would be nice to give a five-day fast a try.
It is amazing how quiet your body is when it is not busily digesting anything. :)
