I've been camping out in Eugene for the past few days, which has been a kind of vacation from my already vacation-esque life. I just got an e-mail back from my placement officer saying that he "received a positive response from a Latin American post," which leaves in late August. I was quite unaware that he had even sent out a request for a position in Latin America, but this is seriously good news nonetheless.
