For you people who keep asking, here's my
9-9:50 MWF Nonverbal Communication
11-11:50 MWF Technical Writing
4-4:50 MW British Lit
9:30-10:45 TTH History of English
12:30-1:45 TTH Photography
I really love having British lit class in the evening, because it makes for more room to breathe. And what do you know, the world is a small place after all; Dr. Hearell, my professor for that class, is actually related to one of my high school english teachers. He's Mr. Hollis' brother-in-law. XD
So it's pretty obvious that Nonverbal com professor, Mr. Doyle, also runs a speech class because every two weeks we have 'discussions' and every week we have a random, but oh so oral reading check. Ugh. On the other hand... the man is obsessed with Japanese culture. All his 'other culture ' examples are nothing but, which makes me happy.
Technical writing class is surprisingly helpful when it comes to how-to write documents. Never will I suffer the mysteries of memos. The professor oddly reminds me of an old percussion director though, Mr. Wallace.
In other news, I wrote haiku last night. You know how Naruto has been taking over my brain lately? Well...
Gaara.
He is shinobi
From the village of sand.
Gaara no sabaku.
Yes, Gaara of the desert.
But Gaara of the dessert:
whoose sand is sweet death
For writers far and wide.
Look! Unstoppered and wild,
the sand rises on the
winds of madness and occ.
A fandom aberration,
this one seeks true love.
Be it, love of a good man
or good woman, or
chocolate bars and teddy bears.
A fandom aberration,
or as some authors note:
'Cheer up, emo sand kid!
Why bother angst when past is past;
How can you suffer--
suffer love, in love, of love --
When married for years?
Married to your mate, your love.
That bloody sandbox
is not the whole of your world!
You can be happy.
As author, I will make sure.'
