Hey Amber, funny story--
So I was telling my dad about our plans for handing out flags or something, and he wasn't really that thrilled. I mean, he's ecstatic that I'd be helping out the democratic party some way (he's totally amazingly liberal, which you wouldn't think, looking at him...) but he was like, "Oh, honey, I'm not so sure..."
So anyways, me later talking with my mom:
Me: "You know, I bet Dad would've been a whole lot more enthusiastic about passing out flags and flyers if he knew what our original plan to get attention was..."
Mom: "What was your original plan?"
Me: "Wet t-shirt contest."
Mom: "Oh. (pause) Why couldn't you try both?"
Hee hee--ladies and gents, my mother. She really wants Bush out of office.
