Re: 25k in the red, 2 semesters left, then the feds come for their money/my kneecapsset_it_offApril 17 2007, 01:43:57 UTC
I have two semesters left too. If I remember correctly, we're the same age.
Excuse the lack of eloquence in the post. I wrote it in frustration and anger. I figure, life is filled grammatical fallacies and punctuation errors. Call it symbolism based on excuses.
I know what you mean >_<. I have people in my writing classes that have subject verb agreement problems. Makes me want to cut them fierce.
I wish I had as much drive an initiative as you, I'm one of the assholes who is sitting around doing nothing while my parents pay for it. I'm envious--despite all the shit you're going/have gone through. I couldn't handle it, but maybe something will come along and kick me in the ass and I'll finally find something to live for.
I really hope you find another living situation soon, good luck.
If you don't sit around going "WAHHHHH MOMMY WON'T BUY ME A NEW CAAAARRRRRR" You're good in my book. Plus, you take your shit seriously... I don't see that much anymore. People think they can get by with thier parent's money and vaginas.
Amen Amen Amen AMEN. (I assume I am the Natalie. If there is another one who also vouches for your inequality statements, I want to meet her. She's smart.) You know, I'm going to school off of grants and shit. I don't work very many hours at all, but I'm definately not lazy, and you do ten times more than I do, so you are 10X more definately not lazy. The whole time I've known you you've always been super independent. You've also worked a good majority of that time, on top of dealing with crazy shit. Although crazy shit doesn't even begin to cover it, does it? People are just not reliable. You pick a few good ones to keep around, sure, but nobody is perfect and you have to learn to seperate out what you CAN count on. School and books and internetz and cool TV shows like House are far more reliable and a much better time investment then a majority of humanoids. Don't feel bad for spending more time with the more reliable things. I don't. =) (And yes, I finally got House addicted. Thank Webb.)
