Witty, confident, good natured and multi-talented; Seta Souji is probably the perfect son, brother and friend all in one. He’s very responsible and self-sufficient for a boy his age, and he’ll probably be there for you in your time of need, ready to help you through your issues but according to Igor, behind that smile, Souji’s apparently ‘empty’. You might think that it’s a bad thing because in truth, he’s grown passive towards everything, and only puts little mind to the various situations he’s forced in to when his parents move and sometimes, he’s probably guilty of being a stepford smiler who uses a smile to hide the truth about what he’s feeling. However, Souji being ‘empty’ isn’t exactly a bad thing because being of the Fool’s arcana means that he holds infinite possibilities and could eventually develop himself according to whatever choices that he chooses and he’ll probably develop for the better, because deep down he’s a boy with a good heart.
BACKGROUND:
There’s really not that much to say about Souji’s past, he doesn’t have a fancy tragic orphan past, or a supernatural background like our resident Jesus Minato. He’s just an overall average guy with an average background with the only thing remotely ‘tragic’ about him being that he moves around a lot because of his parents’ work. To be exact, it is said that he’s practically been moving around his entire life from city to city, town to town and probably eventually grew resigned to never staying in one place and learned how to adapt and blend in with whatever place he moves to. The fact that he’s rather independent and could take care of himself also suggests that his parents probably aren’t home that much either, but Souji doesn’t seem particularly phased by that, nor does he show any sign of resentment towards them.
With his parents work leading them to Tatsumi Port Island, as always, Souji moves along with them and will be studying in Gekkoukan until his parents’ work takes them elsewhere again.
WHY IS YOUR CHARACTER HERE?: To be true to his ‘frequent transfer’ background, Souji will be chillaxing in Iwatodai before he’ll eventually transfer to the Inaba district in Spring.
