Title: Waiting for the World
Author: Seta Ginny
Pairing: Zoro/Nami, Zoro + Sanji.
Theme: Jolt, #3
Disclaimer: Oda = God. Me = Not owner.
Notes: ...I'm tired and frustrated, which makes me mushy. Ugh. I liked the Sanji and Zoro interactions in this, though others might be disappointed in that. Still, I like that.

"Oi, marimo-san." said a voice in the distance. Zoro stood in the mikan grove, a shovel in his hand. He had been out here all morning. There were bushes to be transplanted, and many a thing to tend to in the grove. The world did not wait for him, so he would just have to get ahead of the world. The manual labor helped keep his mind off everything at hand.

A blonde with a cigarette in his hand approached. He blew a ring in Zoro's direction. Zoro stopped what he was doing, and looked at the man.

"...No smoking in the grove, dumbass. Nami'd kick your ass."

"Nami isn't here to kick my ass right now. All I see is you."

"I could kick your ass worse than Nami could." Sanji smirked at the swordsman, and pulled out a small case, putting out his cigarette inside of it.

"You wish." He said as he folded his arms over his chest. If the chef was here, that meant he had something to tell him.

"What's going on? Have you heard from Nojiko?"

"....You have a healthy baby girl, and a recovering wife." Sanji burst into a smile. "Chopper said it's finally safe for you to come home and kiss them. Took long enough, didn't it?"

Zoro didn't even hear his final words. He hadn't even taken the time to put the shovel away. He jolted towards the house, towards Nami, and towards the baby.

The world would wait.
