Seth sat at the Ravenclaw table, being one of the only people who occupied the Great Hall at that hour. It was nearly curfew, though he wasn't paying any attention to the time. In front of him was his Transfiguration book and a peice of parchment covered with doodles and drawings

"Working hard?" Evelyn asked, sitting down next to him. "Or hardly working?"

"Oh, um...."

Seth lifted his head, grinning. "I'm, uh, working hard!"

He nodded enthuastically and after a moment, paused and began to shake his head.

"I'm not working at all, huh?"

Evelyn glanced down at his doodle-covered paper.

"Doesn't look that way," she said. "How's your year been so far?"

Seth looked down at his paper as well and folded it over.

"Pretty...okay. It's been okay. How about your year? How's it been for you? Classes going alright and all that?"
