Calcio e l'elezione

I was reading about the Italian election last night. The Economist seems to think that it's good that Berlusconi lost, but that his ouster wasn't going to be much better. The soccer game sounds like fun. I didn't go to the one in Cape Town, but the cricket game was a lot of fun. Endless, but very entertaining.

The Italian homeless girl who came to speak to my contemporary Britain class was adamantly anti-Berlusconi. Aside from that, I have no real idea of Italian politics. Also, I'm going to a football match tomorrow with everyone in my program (albeit a relatiively small one...I asked if we could go to the Arsenal-Manchester game and everyone just laughed at me...apparently it's impossible to get tickets to Premier League matches?) so we can compare notes on football hooliganism. Also, Seth, I'm glad we're friends.

do not feel bad about saying that the churches begin to look the same. They sure do and everyonef feels that way. I have seen roughly 4 million churches in my life, and it gets pretty hard to seperate one from the other. It really is not that cool anymore. Besides a few of the big famous ones, they really are all the same and they all got blowed up in the war so it's all new and rebuilt anyways.
