Karen got me to BWI in plenty of time to get on my flight to Cleveland, so th. I might even get some sleep that morning!at I could catch my connecting flight to Greenville. My plane should have left already, but it's not.even.here. It will get to Cleveland, at best, half an hour after the flight to Greenville leaves

What's in Greenville?

GSB, Greenville Spartanburg Airport, is there to give me someplace to fly into from BWI. Then I drive 75 minutes to Asheville, NC, where my hotel and job are. I'm working for Mission Hospital these days.

I was just in NC a few weekends ago. Nice, but rather hot (when it wasn't pouring). Hope the weather's improved.
EDIT: BWI to NC via Ohio/Chicago? Not the most direct route. Driving might have been faster.

Driving *would* have been faster, if I'd known that everything was going to work today like clockwork...fashioned out of brie, sitting in Phoenix, AZ. I was not aware that today's Fickle Finger of Fate was the middle one.

Asheville's in a mountain valley (elev. 2200 feet or so, with peaks up to 4000 feet surrounding) and is so usually cooler than home, and when not actually raining, much less dryer.
