That settles that. Apparently I AM in need of a new laptop. Tried to stick a CD in my drive today, went in really hard, barely came back out. Now it's refusing to let me put any discs in the drive. (I'm not too happy about this). I'm also not too happy that I can't install iMovie on here. Yeah, you heard me. iMovie '08 requires a G5 or Intel

I'm really looking at that refurb now. The only thing I really want out of the new ones as opposed to the refurbs, is the more Graphics Card Memory. The old models on the refurb page have 128mb. thats only double what I have now. The new ones have 512, which makes me drool. The one i linked above has 256. And the processor is only .1 below the new one (which doesnt matter).

And its under 2k. I think I could do with that one....

And you still have to wait anyway, if you're counting on that $600 tax rebate, since you won't be getting that for another few months.
