A dear friend of mine recently returned from a Washington D.C. mission trip. Part of this trip, they were to go into the inner city in groups of 2 or 3 and "connect" with some of the homeless inhabitants of the city, once they had built a bond, they were to invite them to dinner

Well, the "trickle-down" system isn't exactly helping the situation very much.
