The morning began with me sleeping in just a little bit later than usual, but on the upside, I think I'm completely over my losing bout against insomnia on Sunday night (sometimes it takes a couple of nights to fully recover). I got up, showered, and everything, then as I was dressing I put on the only local morning show, because I wanted traffic

I worked over two and a half years at mcds and saw far too many people like her that think all fast food workers are too stupid to get a "real" job. Never mind many of these that look down on food workers could never do the job that they think is below them. I was kind and sweet while working there, now days I likely would have responded, "well with an attitude like that I can see why they might take their sweet time serving you. Now if you'll move your big mac hips I'd like my coffee."... I've developed an attitude specially since I think those that mistreat food workers are scum.

Oh I agree. I've done my share of work at fast food places, so I know how much the jobs can suck, how accidents can happen, and how thankless the job is. I also try to just generally be cool and forgiving with anyone doing something for me, it costs me nothing to be nice to people after all. I imagine if I wasn't at work (I don't think I'd be in trouble for being rude to a patient or a patient's family or friends here when I'm not on the clock, but I'd rather not find out, just in case) and if I was also more awake at the time, I likely would have said something similar. I wish more people could realize that all of existence does not revolve around them personally.
