For high school nostalgia reasons, I vote Option 1.

So how much of your post-grad time will be actually in Princeton, and how much in Switzerland?

Well, the tricky part is that it's somewhat up to me. For professional purposes it is best to be in Geneva essentially all the time. For quality of life reasons, both personal and academic, it's nicer to be in Princeton (or any university in the U.S. with at least semi-reasonable access to a major city).
