It was much the same when I met Vaan, Balthier and the others. People used to look upon us as the most unlikely ensemble they had ever set eyes upon, and to some extent, we were. And yet, all thrown together by our circumstances, we became great friends, not simply allies.

It's the same with me and the other Gundam pilots! I think technically we all probably shouldn't know one language together even, but for some weird reason we all know Japanese...

Anyway! Friends just come from weird places!
