I want to fangirl squee with you about a lot of what you've said, but I only have a bit of time so I will narrow it down to: RIVER SONG! I love River Song! :D

!! I have gtalk (mayalynn), yim (shenra), and aim (wakato) if you ever want to poke me for fangirling. I feel the pain of having no time to do things, and your con is coming up a month or so sooner than mine. I think I now share a whole lot of your fandoms (including a bit of Sherlock Holmes now >.>), so some squeeing would be greatly appreciated.
As for River Song: YES! ^___^ I am /so/ excited to see more of her and learn more of her backstory. It's one of the big things that has convinced me that I will be continuing on into the next season sooner rather than later.
