Since I can't go out and play in the snow. . .
- Akito does have a bad constitution, so he does get sick a lot. It is never anything serious, though. Also, he has a bad response to stress and being aggravated by getting fevers once he can relax. This happens more often than really getting sick. After that, Akito tends to fake, or even delude himself, into being sick which is more mental than anything else. It's hard to separate which one is which, though.
- Akito likes to sleep a lot! The above is part of it, but Akito exerts himself easily. So, he has to rest up more often than others. Sleep is when Akito can truly relax and ignore everyone other than Jyuunishi, so he indulges in it often.
- As for other past times, Akito likes to read and watch television. The television is usually too noisy, but when he's in a good mood, he does enjoy it. Akito likes books about the Warring States era of Japan and the like, but he isn't fond of much else. He especially hates romance novels.
- Akito doesn't celebrate any holiday other than the New Year, even his own birthday. Everyone else can do as they like, but he doesn't particularly care much for them.
- Akito prefers traditional Japanese over Western clothing. For himself, he just feels more comfortable in it as it isn't as restrictive. He doesn't have anything other than his suits when it comes to Western clothing. For others, he hates the cut and style of women's clothing in Western styles.
- As head of the family, Akito doesn't do too much. He keeps an eye on how everything is running with the family and the finances with Kureno's help. He approves anything the family decides to invest in, then gets to decide what to do with the money that comes back from that investment. So, the wealth compounds again and again.
- Akito has only looked in the box once. Having it around gives him a peace of mind, but Akito doesn't really get too agitated when separated from it for awhile. When Akito is really under stress, he'll bring it out and sit with it then.
- More than time, Akito pays attention to the sky. He tells time by where the sun is at and so on. Akito isn't bound to time by any stretch of the mind, so he doesn't keep clocks or watches around himself at all. Funnily enough, he is never late for any appointments.
- Akito prefers not to go into the outside world much, if at all. As a child, he would venture to the park and so on, but he did so less and less frequently as he got older. Even now, Akito preferred not to set foot outside the inner part of the family compound.
- Akito does not get claustrophobic or stir-crazy, in the least. He can stay in one room for unreasonable lengths of time without anything to entertain himself easily. In this sense, Akito has the patience of a saint. Camp has caused him to develop some irritation at staying in a place too long which is why he will walk camp at times. Really, it's more from being cramped in by people than not being able to sit still.
- Akito has no remorse when he kills small animals. He does keep a pet bird in camp that tends to die every now and then. The first time he killed his pet was an accident, but at this point. . . Akito just doesn't resist the urge.
- People rank slightly higher than animals in that killing them tends to create a lot more problems. If it weren't for that, Akito would probably kill people too.
