It is Friday. I have 1 hour and 25 minutes until I am free from the shackles of my telephone nemesis. I have a 750 word essay due for ethics. Not bad, not good since nothing is preferable. I'm sick of work radio. I mean, playing Nickelback 4 times an hour is 4 times too much. There isn't a new Dear Abby entry on Yahoo! News to kill five minutes.

Sweet mother of god I feel you on the whole work radio thing.
The only thing I like about it is, "Sexyback" plays everytime I walk into a room, which I choose to take as a sign. (Even though it's not. lol)

I'm very militant about music at work. I took in my own boombox and started bringing in tons of great cds everyday when I was in the one building. I'd fucking bring in Interpol, The Cure, Bush, The Pumpkins, Idlewild, etc, and just throw the cd on a loop for my entire 8 hour shift.

LOL, my coworker (who is partial to R&B) has taken to bringing her own CDs and plays them on her computer to drown out the schmaltzy rockpopcountryballads.

Good idea though! :-D
