most of these fags get weeded out by 3rd or 4th semester JP, but yeah, i had my run-ins with more than a few of these people. this one nasty looking kid came all up in my face on the second day of my first japanese class (couple years ago) and was all telling me he knew how to say tits, vagina, cock, fuck, etc in japanese. i never even acknoledged he was talking to me. same kid interupted the teacher about 10 times a class questioning what the teacher had told us (teacher was native speaker of japanese, born and raised there etc). yeah, you sure look smart.

I'm taking Japanese 10B right now (first year japanese, second quarter) right now because I never got around to finishing it. :p Fortunately I have not run into people like that. I suppose if you were a Japanese teacher, that would be the type of student you hate: people who think they already know everything about a culture they haven't grown up/lived with!

Good luck, maybe he'll drop the class for some reason or another.

He is entertaining when he does say crazy things. Unfortunately, that makes up only about 10% of what he said. The rest was just constant questions and comments for the proffessor that weren't even related to what she was talking about.
