Best and Worst Movies of 2007

I watched Hot Fuzz with the Fuzz-O-Meter feature on this weekend...
I've always loved the film, but you never really realize how magnificently crafted and planned it all was until you try to consume the sheer amount of puzzle piecing from all manner of classic cop/detective/action films done to make it.

You didn't like Transformers?

A bit on the less commercial stuff, if you like Joy Division, Control is brilliant.
Lust, Cautious is surprisingly good as well, and not only because of the sex scenes ; )

I watched a bootleg copy of Transformers. The previous night, I only had 2hrs and 45mins of sleep, was on the set of Dark Knight from 6am to 7:30pm, so half way through the movie I fell asleep.

Honestly though, from what I did see I didn't really like it all that much. I severly dislike Shia Lebouf as a person and an actor.

i think the actors were rather negligible, the robots were the stars. I saw it pre-opening night at a 3am show, after a full evening of drinking, it was pretty good IMO.
