For Paul, faith was like a lightning strike, he was in flash faithful. For many, it is like an oak tree, that grows from a small seed through life until it is mighty. For most, it is like a white shirt, which isn't washed enough. But for Thomas the apostle, it was something that he had to find himself--to touch the wounds, to test what was. Francis' faith was in the other children of god, and the current Popes is in small deeds it seems. Shield Maiden's faith is in revealed ritual and ceremony, and expressed in thoughtful action.

All of these are good faiths. Some of them are Christian. "I Believe in God" is a big set of words with a lot of baggage in the world of money as well as the world of spirit. You do deeds of faith and hope, and champion the unvoiced; you seek the path of human goodness.

I hope you can find your own faith. I know mine was broken in college, and has regrown, and that if I act on it it is stronger. I know that I have faith in you. I pray you can have faith in yourself.
