I just received word from Dylan that the Blue Note, that phenomenal jazz bar in Cary, has closed. That was my favorite place in the world (I was just telling Sarah that last night, strangely enough). It's such a loss; I've always said that the Blue Note is what bars in heaven must look like, sound like, and feel like. I never had a bad moment there

Dylan and I embarked on a frantic search last night for other jazz clubs in Raleigh. So, I'll let you know if we find something that might measure up.
