Oh, and I have a question...
isn't Mattie supposed to be sick? I know she had the whole barely eating thing but...........ooh ooh ooh!! Is that what's going to bring Jayne and River back together? That would rock~!!!!!!!!

That was so sad, but I have faith that eventually you'll make it all better! ;) I'm just waiting for River to go all self-sacrificing and leave the ship before Jayne can so that Mattie doesn't have to leave her home. It seems exactly like something she would do. However it plays out, I hope they get back together soon! Thanks for the update! :)

It's so darn tragic... I need to find fluff. Where's all the fluff gone? I mean, clearly, I know where this fluff has gone. And I expect we'll get some again, eventually. Although I don't know how many more chapters like this I can handle, so I hope "eventually" means "soon."

In any case, it's nice to see them doing realistic-type miscommunication/anger/avoidance/protection things. Not, you know nice. Just satisfying. I think I need to go re-read some fluff from one of your other series. So I'm going to go do that now.
