Spike looking into the beaming face of besotted Buffy and hating himself for wanting that love to be real was heart hurting. Of course he couldn't resist her soft sweetness and the sex was erotic and energetic, but knowing it's all a lie made it bittersweet.

Thanks for bringing the humor back with Buffy destroying her gift and ranting about Spike's crazy girlfriend. She was so schoolgirl on crack it had me giggling, but her last line made me laugh out loud. Finally one of the participants is gunning for Willow! Maybe Spike will kill her before Buffy can.

He's love's bitch that Spike, I tells ya! Who could resist such loving arms after being rejected by a woman he's loved for over a century? It's cruel, yes...but both will suffer from this spell.

Thanks to jamalov29, I didn't miss this gem. I just caught up on this and I'm enjoying the ride so much that I thought it's high time to delurk and make a comment.

My favorite ROTFL moments so far:

And while this is hilariously funny story, not to mention hot, there's just a little bit of angst in the mix. I like that a lot.
