really? dude, you're supposed to be the nes guy. page 1: super dodge ball, zelda, metroid, dino warz page 2: fester's quest, where's waldo, bad dudes, karnov page 3: blaster master, excite bike, mike tyson's punch out, d&d heroes of the lance page 4: uh, ok, i have no idea, dr. robotnik's mean bean machine, arch rivals, bubble bobble page 5: low g man, earthbound, snoopy, daedalus.
not that i wasted my entire childhood fucking around with video games or anything.
no, i know what games they all are, i just don't understand the 'parody' or why they're funny.
the first one on page four is 'crash and the boys street challenge', and it is AMAZING. it's probably one of my top ten nes games of all time. same dudes that made river city ransom and world cup soccer (and some other awesome non-usa games)
i thought that's what it was, but couldn't remember the name of that one. i had / (have? dunno. haven't dug through the nes box in a while.) river city ransom, and looked everywhere for street olympics style sequel type thing. since i live in a vile shithole of a city, of course no one had any copies.
most of the parody bits weren't that good, but the tyson one just struck a chord with me or something.
