The smell of food was what drew Flick out of bed finally. It was an interesting smell, completely unique to Isabelle, and he couldn't stop his curiosity from getting the best of him.
He got up, stretched and pulled on a worn shirt and a pair of pants before he made his way out to the kitchen.
"You're up early," he said, coming over to lean against her back and kiss her neck.
"And you're supposed to be in bed," Isabelle retorted, even as she leaned back into him. Couldn't help being a little greedy for his touch, under the circumstances. She flipped a pancake over, before glancing back at him over her shoulder. "I'm making you breakfast."
