Paul is schizophrenic. What I have is similar, but I don't believe in imaginary friends. In fact, I'm doubting there even can be imaginary things or even a higher power. I'm surrounding myself with people who are of the moment and my beliefs are similarly molded.

I relate to the delusional bit somewhat - again, I don't believe in imaginary things, but I do hold beliefs which, by common standards, are incorrect, but I believe they are correct.

I relate to the being wise-beyond-your-years.

If you want I can explain more, just not in a public entry such as this.

right. I used the term "imaginary" because their existence in undeniable to Paul but he realizes they "can't" be real. Yet he seems to have no control over their comings and goings so... what label should he call them? And yes, Paul is schizophrenic. schizo-affective to be exact.

yeah perhaps sometimes we'll swap our semi-delusional commonly-held-to-be incorrect world views but a public forum doesn't seem the time or place.
