a giant with flaming hair and purple earmuffs
Started writing in another blog thingy so i kinda forgot about lj... like anyone cares anyway...
I've been wanting earmuffs for years, but for some reason i always forget to buy them... so i thought i'd make 'em instead 8D
So i went looking for old headphones, i figured i gotta have some laying around here...since i only use those small..thingies.
anyway, found this box in my dads tool-junk-closet,
this was my very first walkman XD from when we went on vacation in the early 90s, we were driving to this little island and my brother had a walkman but i didnt so we stopped on the way and bought this. and Michael Jacksons "Dangerous" 8D i listened to that cassette all the way there and back home... i pretty much knew all the songs when we were half way there XD
anyway, when i first saw it in the closet i didnt think there was anything in it, but why would my dad just save an empty box?
yay headphones. but the covers started falling off as soon as you touched it,
i looks like i'm pulling it off with force or something but i'm really not. i found little pieces of that stuff all over the floor -_-
started chrocheting little...covers..whatever its called,
the color of the yarn got a little weird here, its not pink in any way.
and tadaaaa,
i left the cable on cus they actually still work, so i can use them to keep my ears warm AND to listen to music XD
i also made a hat that i was gonna give to my brother for christmas, but i thought it was too small (and when he later tried it on it was indeed too small) so i made this Vivienne Westwood orb thingy on it,
and when i saw this pic i noticed i had missed one stitch...
with hat and earmuffs and stupid face,
i think i made this pic too green XD but oh wellz.
my two other hats i use the most, made by my sis,
first one she made, those long things on the side go down to...below my waist.
i remember when i first started using it, ppl in my class wanted to try it on..like they had never seen a hat before O_o
but then i used it so much that it became a bit...err... whatever the word is, i used google translate and it gave me "pilling"..lol never heard that word before. anyway, it looked very used, so i asked her to make me another one,
i drew this crappy drawing of how i wanted these 2 to look and she made them exactly how they looked like in my head ^_^
and that hat i crocheted when i had dreads,
its waaaay too big for me now, i dont know what to do with it :/

Some bleach,
usually i have it in a bottle but i tried this other brand which was alot cheaper and ppl on the net had said it was really good.
i only did the top part on one side, there wasnt enough bleach for more but i hadnt planned on doing more anyway,
i look dead in these pix but i was really tired...
anyway, i bleached it cus i want to dye it some red copper color. so i really just wanted to get the black out, which was surprisingly easy. usually when i bleach from black i get this orange/brown color but now its more orange/blonde. didnt bleach my roots tho (which are about 6-7cm) cus...dont think i need to to get red copper.
at first i was thinking one of these two,
but then i thought i would use the same brand i used for the bleach, since it was so cheap, so one of these,
i think i like the first one the best... if its too light i can just try one of the other two.
hmm...myes.
Last summer, i think it was, i got this catalog that had these shoes in it,
i fell instantly in love but my dad said they were too expensive (they cost 379sek which is about $45). so i kept lusting for them until one day i went to the website and checked my "wishlist", where i had put them, and they werent there anymore.
when something gets removed from the wishlist that means its sold out.
it was poop, but they cant sell them forever.
a week or two ago i was looking in this magazine you get with the newspaper and in the clothes section they had a pic of the shoes. but i thought it was weird since they were sold out, so why advertise them? O_o
but i went to the website just in case they had re-stocked them or something. i searched but couldnt find them :( but then! i thought, what if i search for the product number.
so i went looking for the catalog (took forever cus i get so many catalogs X_x). finally found it, typed it in for "direct order" and the shoes were in the shopping cart.
O_o
how can you order shoes that are sold out?
i kept thinking they were gonna say they were sold out during all the ...checkout steps, but they didnt. i thought i would get an email saying they were sold out. but i didnt.
and then,
the pictures i took using flash made them look blue or grey but they are black.
10cm heel...they make me a giant 8D
but they were my size too and my size (european 39) is one of the sizes that usually sells out the fastest... this is all very strange.
not that i'm complaning but...still, if they're not sold out, why arent they on the website? moop.
And last but not least, bought these cute earrings,
little bird cages ^_^ i wish they were round tho, tried putting them together but it didnt really work.
oh well i still like them.
