*BIG HUGS* Sleep is a bitch. I don't know how it's possible to be fatigued AND insomniac all the time, but that happens to me frequently. *moar hugs* Deffo recommending 200 mg of tryptophan at night for both sleep and daytime anxiety (and it has none of the side effects of sedatives or anti-deps), but don't worry, I'm not pushing it or anything. Hang on in there and hope you get some rest. I'll send Coulson over to watch by your door and he'll kick in the face of anyone who tries to wake you. Also Hawkeye on the roof with his arrows trained on intruders. *moar hugs*

Good suggestion. Except, I think I'd feel safer and sleep better if I had certain SHIELD agents in the bed with me. For cuddles.

I tried looking at tryptophan stuff online, and it does look like it could help with several problems. I just can't seem to confirm if it's sold in stores at any pharmacy. So far it's order online only.

It seems to be available in loads of US health food stores and the like. The dosages seem a bit ridiculous to me, TBH (if I take 400-500 mg like some of the tablets, I will be totally zombified the next day). I'm fine with 200 mg. It also helps you stay asleep and improves the sleep quality a lot, which is great, so you will feel more rested. And you know that sort of... stomach-clutching, heart-pounding cold chill thing that happens just when you're about to get a panic attack, that fight-or-flight thing? Especially when that shit happens at random, like in the morning when you're just waking up? It suppresses that, too, unlike any prescription antidepressant I've been on. It doesn't do it completely, of course, but what it does help with is that sort of random physiological/chemical panic stuff, the sort that doesn't even have anything to do with what's been happening or whatever but has for some lame reason remained in your system because of past bad experiences. So when you started talking about random sleeplessness and feeling ( ... )
